1. PERMANENT PLACEMENTS

Our charges will be raised by means of invoice, which is payable on or before the date which will be specified by us.  Usually this is within 5 working days of the date of the invoice.

Our charges will be raised by means of invoice, which is payable on presentation.

Our charges are calculated as percentages of the annual remuneration packages paid out to successful applicants.  A placement will be deemed to have occurred should you employ an individual introduced to you by Valcol during the twelve months preceding the date of such hiring whether such introduction was by interview, conversing, canvassing, supply of curriculum vitae or any other method.  We differentiate between permanent and temporary placements and the applicable percentages are listed below:

Annual Remuneration Package - 20% of Annual Gross remuneration package

Where a salary package includes, as an integral part thereof, fringe benefits or “perks” of any kind.

The annual value thereof will be added to the salary for the purposes of calculating our charges, for example:

Bonus, guaranteed or predicted thirteenth cheque will be valued at the actual amount thereof;

Allowances or any other such payments, will be calculated at the total annual monetary value thereof.

All Regional and International recruitment will be calculated at 20% of annual package, which includes any supplementary benefits i.e. school fees, housing, gratuity, bonus etc.

 2. TEMPORARY PLACEMENTS

         Per month payable in arrears                      25 % of gross monthly package        

Should any temporary employee, whom we have introduced, be placed in your company, group of companies (regardless of position) on a permanent basis, a placement fee will be charged.  The charge will be calculated on our permanent fee rates.  No credit against the permanent placement invoice will be awarded for any payment made against temporary invoices.

3.  OUR GUARANTEE ON PERMANENT PLACEMENTS

Our guarantee on all permanent placements entitles your organisation to a reduction or refund of certain placement charges.  Please note this guarantee is only offered providing that our invoice for the original placement has been settled on or before the date specified by us, which is usually 5 working days from date of invoice.  Should any employee, who we have placed with you, prove unsuitable and be asked to leave your employ

  •         Within two weeks (i.e. 10 working days) of joining your company, our charge will be calculated on a daily rate

  •            Within the 10 days to 30 days of joining your company, our charge will be reduced to 25% of the original placement fee

  •            Within the 30 days to 60 days of joining your company, our charge will be reduced to 50% of the original placement fee

  •            From 60 - 90 days of joining your company, our charge will be reduced to 75% of the original placement fee

The above guarantee is offered provided that our invoice for the original placement fee has been settled within the 5 working day period as mentioned in point 1.  Payments received later than this 5 day grace period will result in the loss of our guarantee.

Our guarantee refund must be claimed within 15 days from the date the employee leaves your employ. 

Our Guarantee does not apply with regard to the following which may happen within the probation period:

  •            Retrenchment or redundancy

  •           The Applicant’s reasonable dissatisfaction on breach of promise on remuneration or benefits offered and not fulfilled

  •           Undisclosed and/or unfavourable conditions

  •           Any unfair practice

The full fee will be charged and no refund will be afforded.

4.  OUR GUARANTEE ON TEMPORARY PLACEMENTS 

With every temporary employee we offer a four-hour guarantee.  Should the “temp” prove unsuitable, please advise us immediately, within the first four hours of employment, and we will endeavour to replace that person on the same day or as soon as possible. 

These are our fees, terms and conditions.  An interview held between the client and the applicant shall be deemed acceptance of and agreement to these terms.
